Jimmy Sotos in SHAO on the 2026 ESPYS Red Carpet
Jimmy Sotos attended The 2026 ESPYS Presented by Capital One at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center wearing SHAO’s AW26 Cropped Leather Double-Button Blazer with Piercing Detail.
Presented by ESPN, the annual ceremony brought together leading athletes and figures from entertainment to recognize the year’s defining achievements and moments in sports. The 2026 edition marked the ESPYS’ first full-scale return to New York City since 1999 and was hosted by comedian Marcello Hernández.
For the evening, Jimmy wore the cropped black blazer with a clean black trouser and minimal styling, allowing the sharp proportion and silver piercing detail to define the look.
The resulting silhouette felt distinctly SHAO, bringing the visual language of the AW26 runway into the setting of one of the year’s most visible intersections of sports, entertainment, and fashion.

A Look Shaped by Sport and Fashion
Before moving into modeling and entertainment, Jimmy played Division I basketball at Bucknell University and The Ohio State University. His athletic background gives the appearance a natural connection to the ESPYS, while his transition into modeling and content creation reflects a career increasingly positioned between sport, fashion, and popular culture.
Jimmy was scouted as a model while playing basketball at Ohio State and is represented by Soul Artist Management. He has since expanded his work across modeling, acting, and digital media.
The SHAO blazer brings that crossover into focus. Its athletic shoulder, abbreviated length, and precise construction frame the body with clarity, while the piercing hardware disrupts the conventions of traditional evening tailoring.

The AW26 Cropped Leather Double-Button Blazer
Jimmy wore SHAO’s AW26 Cropped Leather Double-Button Blazer with Piercing Detail, a runway piece from UNDERWORLD ROYALE: DARKNESS UNDER NEON LIGHTS, now available for pre-order.
Cut in black vegan leather, the blazer features a structured shoulder, cropped silhouette, classic notch lapel, and two-button front closure. Subtle paneling shapes the body, while a removable silver piercing attached to the chest welt pocket introduces an industrial point of contrast.
The shortened proportion reworks the familiar language of the tailored black blazer, creating a silhouette that feels sharper and more immediate. Styled on Jimmy for the ESPYS, the piece retained the discipline of formalwear while carrying the darker, after-hours character of the AW26 collection.

UNDERWORLD ROYALE: DARKNESS UNDER NEON LIGHTS
Presented during Shanghai Fashion Week, SHAO AW26 UNDERWORLD ROYALE: DARKNESS UNDER NEON LIGHTS draws from the visual codes of 1990s Golden Age Hong Kong gangster cinema.
Across the collection, tailoring is treated as a form of protection and controlled self-presentation. Structured shoulders, leather surfaces, precise proportions, and piercing hardware translate cinematic dress codes into a contemporary approach to luxury tailoring.
Jimmy Sotos’ ESPYS appearance brings that language into a new context, connecting the collection’s ideas of discipline, physical presence, and personal image with a ceremony rooted in athletic achievement.
